FISH FRY have previously released two sold out albums - Run Your Mouth (1996) and Saturday Night (2000). A long awaited third album Platter (2007) is available now and includes the award winning songs from the 1233 ABC Music Awards (jazz category) 2003 and 2004. Platter is a mixture of original tunes and rare classics dipped and fried till golden, FISH FRY style.
FISH FRY are the Hunter Region's most loved exponents of Jump-Jive Jazz, Swing and Rhythm & Blues. This widely respected and multi-award winning Newcastle based six piece has been stacking dance floors solid throughout the country since 1993.
FISH FRY performances are famous for the energy, excitement and supercharged ensemble work as the band plug into the vibe of R&B legends Ray Charles, Louis Jordan, Big Joe Turner and Louis Prima, hepcats Duke Ellington and Cab Calloway, groovy guru Georgie Fame and of course The Godfather of Soul, James Brown.

FISH FRY are featured regularly at music festivals and private functions throughout the state and have previously shared the stage with legendary artists Shirley Bassey, Michael Crawford, Renee Geyer, James Morrison and Don Burrows. Australian acting great Jack Thompson has even joined the band for a few choruses on harmonica.
FISH FRY opened the latest NBN telethon with an electric live to air performance and routinely appear at the Hunter Vineyards and many music festivals including Jazz in the Vines, The Lovedale Long Lunch and Seafood and Semillon.
